Im Carlos Parmentier, A vfx artist specializing in water simulation, destruction and other fluids. I have over 10 years of experience working in the cgi and fx industry. Houdini is currently my main tool in visual effects ranging from water simulation to render.

Started playing video games since 1983 which helped my choice in 1991 to begin studying programming with MS-DOS language like Pascal & Borland C, making several mini video games. In 1987 i had first encounters with VFX in movies like Star Wars, 2001 a space odissey, Alien..  This fact inspired me very much, in 1992 i started to learn 3d studio R2. Actually the most i do is water fluids FX.

I have an disability hearing, but does not prevent me from speaking.
